I scrambled at the last minute to take the girls Valentine photos and then put something together for them to bring to school to give to their Valentines.
I know it is past Valentines Day, but these cute little matchbook goodies can be made for any occasion: baby shower favors, birthday favors, just because favors….

Here is a quick tutorial on how I (quickly) made them…
I created a 3×4 card in Photoshop CS5 and used the following:
Sweet as can Be by Connie Prince
Katie Pertiet Word Label Loves
Love yooo Frames by Splendid Fiins

I created an 8.5×11 document in Photoshop that fit six of the 3×4 cards. I then cut out the cards and set aside.

I gathered red and pink cardstock from my stash and cut out strips measuring 3.25″ x 9″ (roughly). I just eye balled the pack of M&Ms and went with it..and it worked out.

I scored the end of the cardstock measuring .25″ from the end and folded along the scored line.

I tucked the pack of M&Ms into the flap I just created and stapled.

I then folded the cardstock back over to cover the M&Ms and tucked the paper into the stapled flap to create my matchbook.
I adhered the 3×4 Photo Valentine and voila!!
