i am excited to announce my latest photography endeavor- The Mom Project!
as a Mom i know…
there is rarely time for yourself, but you still want to feel pretty and get gussied up once in awhile.
you want to tell your story, your families story.
you want your children to know who you are.
you are your family’s primary picture taker, but you want your children and family to have photos of you too.
so starting this Mother’s Day and throughout the year I will feature special Moms and their story on my blog.
this is where you come in…
to be featured on my blog and tell your story on my blog please send me an email to kristalund@kristalundphotography.com and let me know why you want to be part of The Mom Project.
if you are chosen, you will receive a FREE photo session with me including the digital images!
and the not so fun details:
photo session will take place at a location of my choosing in the SF Bay Area
only SF Bay Area Moms can apply (unless you are willing to pay to travel to SF)
model release and photography contract will both need to be signed
so what are you waiting for?
send in your submission.
Moms, i CELEBRATE you!
and so our first MOM to celebrate, of course has to be my own MOM!!
Name: Susi
2 Kids: Greg (34) and Krista (32)
3 Grandkids: Katelyn (3.5), Emily (15mo) and Logan (9mo)
What is your favorite family memory?
I love the memeories of all our family trips to Lake Berryessa and watching my kids grow up on the water. We always had such fun, from water sports to water balloon fights!!
What was the thing you did as a mother that you’re proudest of?
I think I am really proud that I went back and got my high school diploma (13 years later), when my kids were in Jr. High school. How could I expect my kids to get their diplomas, if I didn’t get mine!
If you had only 6 months left to live, what would you want to be sure to experience?
I think all I would want to do is just be with my loved ones, maybe take a trip to the beach house with them; nothing else would matter!
What value(s) did you try to teach your children?
I think respect; for others and for themselves. Also the value of being a good parent, because when they are grown they will want to hang out with you!! LOL!!
Mother or Grandmother: which role do you love more?
OMGosh….being a Grandma is the best, hearing Katelyn say “I love you Grandma Susi” just melts my heart!!! Even though I love both roles, being a Grand parent has more advantages, I don’t have the constant worry about money, time, patience and I know my kids are excellent, loving parents, so that leaves me with just the spoiling part!!
