despite the gray skies and drizzle (yes, drizzle at the end of august!) bean’s party was a success!!
it was wonderful having all our friends and family come together to celebrate!
i love watching the children get older and new ones being welcomed!
the kiddos got to do it all…go crazy in the jumpy/slide (we didn’t add water this year!), go swimming (bbbbrrrrrr!), eat snow cones, play in gma and gpa’s “play room,” eat yummy cupcakes and have fun!!
i think the adults had fun to…we had to make a beer and wine run! and my hubby wasn’t feeling so hot the next day!
katelyn loved opening all her fantastic gifts and then we oohed and aahed over them again the next day as we put them all away.
i didn’t take many photos. i guess i was caught up in all the fun!
i did video tape lots though
including dane’s robot and break dancing moves!

i am already thinking about ms em’s winter wonderland first birthday party!!

and on a random note- zack and i spent some time hanging photos on our walls!! super excited about that. looking forward to getting the house put together. we want to have an end of the summer (wait! did we ever really have a summer this year with all the funky weather??!) BBQ.
