emmy’s winter “one”derland was “snow” successful!
we had unseasonably warm winter weather- good thing i didn’t have snow trucked in!
our house was full of our wonderful friends and family!
even our rude neighbors couldn’t stop our celebrating!!
i have to admit that i had bean’s first birthday party planned at least 6 months in advance.
two weeks prior to emmy’s party, my SIL asked me if i needed her to bring anything and i didn’t even have the menu figured out!
BUT
with lots of help, everything was planned and prepped and the party was AMAZING!

emmy’s magnet snowglobe favors
i had grand ideas of making these snow globes out of baby food jars, but i ran out of time and creative energy
i just loved the way my photo branch centerpiece turned out!
featuring lots of little photos of baby em thru her first year of life.
funny story about the branches…while out working, i kept keeping my eye out for some branches, trying to be a frugal crafter and not wanting to buy branches.
i spotted some nice ones, but there was no way i was going to yank them off the trees in a very public, busy parking lot.
i drove down the street towards my next stop still looking for some branches.
i happened to park right next to the perfect (dead) bush (tree?) and the parking lot was secluded and i was alone. i quickly hopped out, surveyed the area and began yanking branches off. but it was harder and taking longer than i thought!
i gave up and bought a bunch of branches from joanns!
come to find out…i have the perfect branches in my backyard! OY!

and the thank you notes. which haven’t gone out yet, so act surprised when you receive yours in the mail, k?
