i admit i used to judge people before i had kids.
how could they let their kids run around with snotty noses, uncombed hair, dirty nails?
gross.
but now i get it.
how could they have toys strewn all over the place and piles of laundry and dishes?
disgusting.
but now i get it.
how could they serve rice a roni, canned veggies and fast food to their children?
unhealthy.
but now i get it.
how could they let their kids run around in their mismatched pjs til 2pm?
tacky.
but now i get it.
i am getting schooled, hard and fast.
i’ve always taken on a lot at one time (maybe too much?) and found it an exciting challenge to keep all the balls in the air.
well folks.
the balls are dropping!
but i am learning to let go.
to not take on so much.
to not judge.
to ask for help.
to rock a ponytail.
and to play more.
cuddle longer.
care less.
and it feels good.
