daddy and i had a tough time giving you a name, baby boy.
ehtan, jax, oliver, benjamin, charlie, evan and jase were just some of the names we liked.
we had a number of names we liked but nothing was clicking.
it came down to two names: Evan Michael and Jase Michael.
Michael for a middle name after your Grandpa (daddy’s daddy).
daddy and i liked both equally and we couldn’t decide.
we actually waited til the day after you were born to name you- Jase Michael.
the girls had a big part in daddy finally saying “yea, Jase”
for the longest time neither of the girls would give their input and
then finally one day emmy really thought it over, her face full of
ponder and said “baby brother, jase!”
i think how thoughtful she was about it made daddy like the name more.
and that is how we named you, Jase Michael.
