life does not have to be perfect to be wonderful

I ask myself all those same things. We are way too hard on ourselves. On those days, I try to have a big cuddle with them and tell them how great they are and that I sometimes have a hard day, where life is just too loud for me. It’s not them being bad, its them being kids and acting the way kids kids are supposed to act, and that it’s not theirfault. And just go on about what great kids they are. They feel the love. That’s what matters. Somebody recently told me, “if you don’t yell at your kids, you don’t spend enough time with them.”
