letter to my daughters

i’ve seen this on a few other blogs and although i think of my blog and scrapbooks as a letter to my family, i thought it would be fun to make it more official
so here it goes…

Dear Katelyn and Emily,
Everyday you test me, not only my patience, but my love. Just when I think I can’t love any more, we share a sweet moment- a big hug and kiss from you, Emmy and a sweet hug and good night kiss from you Katelyn. We share a moment when everything seems to be just right and perfect. The days troubles and “think about its” erase at that very moment.
This Summer has offered many changes for you both.
You both Graduated from your Old School and have stayed home with me. You were both troopers and a lot of fun as I dragged you everywhere from the Grocery Store to Happy Hollow. You were my inspiration and motivation to get out of the house and away from the computer and TV and enjoy this sweet, short time together to the fullest.
Katelyn, you are a Kindergartener now! I love how you have embraced learning. You are eager to tell us all about your day, your friends, your classes, your teachers. You will SOAR!
Both of you Girls have become Big Sisters! You both have embraced this role amazingly. Baby Jase is lucky to have you both and I love how you are both excited to teach him things as he grows up.
Emily, you are rocking the Potty Training making us all very proud of you! You are such a Big Girl at times, but I still enjoy our cuddles. I know you are eager to go to school first but Mama is enjoying our time at home together. I love watching you play and talk to your Babies when you think I am not paying attention. You are a sweetheart.
I hope you both know how much I love you and I am trying my very best to be the best Mama you both deserve.
There isn’t a moment that goes by that I don’t think about you kids.
I love you more than you both know.
