This month I am so excited to feature my cousin, Jessica as my Mom, or in her case Mom-to-be for The Mom Project.
Angela and I met up with Jessica on a warm summer evening and just played in the delicious light. Poor Jess, we dragged her from one awesome location to the next! We were like kids in a candy store just snapping away! Jessica was a wonderful model and looked so beautiful. I know it is so cliche, but she really was glowing! See for yourself…
What kind of Mom do you think you will be? Strict? Softy?
I hope to be a perfect balance of the 2! There is a time to give in and be a little soft, but also a time to be more firm and stand my ground. We will see how this tactic pans out!
Who influenced you the most and helped shaped the kind of Mother you will become?
There are several important people in my life that have helped influence the type of mom I hope to be (or not be). #1 is my nana, my guardian angel! She taught me right from wrong, self respect, and ambition to do what makes me happy, among so many other things!! I hope I can give my children a fraction of the love she’s given me!
What are you most looking forward to in your new role as a Mother?
I can’t wait to give my baby boy a stable, loving foundation to build his future on. Unconditional love and attention!
What are your feelings about the Labor & Delivery process?
Ouch!
I’m surprisingly not too worried about it. I figure the baby has his own agenda and will come when and how he is ready! I can’t wait to finally meet him.
What is the most important thing your want to teach your child(ren)?
I want to teach him good morals! Rules to live by that make him a great person now and as an adult so he can pass them on to his family some day.
How many kids would you like to have?
I think 2 is plenty.
