Jase started Flag Football a couple weeks ago.
I ran around the house with the flags on so he can understand how to play. When he found out his soccer buddy played he wanted to sign up. And then after we registered him and paid the fee, he said he didn’t want to play because they would take his flags. I explained that the opponent gives them back. I also suggested that he should run really fast so no one catches him and grabs his flags!
When we showed up at the High School Field it was a bit overwhelming for Jase…and cold! There were 8 Teams practicing on the field and Jase got upset and scared. He came around and jumped right into practice. I am grateful that the Coaches noticed he was having a “rough start” and gave him the ball to score a touchdown! That turned him around for sure. He also scored a TD in the game.
Afterwards he would tell people that he had a “rough start” but then it was AWESOME!
And BTW…who is this Big Boy?!
Daddy took him to get a haircut, a new football and an athletic cup for Tball which starts this week! He wore his jersey all day and that football never left his side. He got in trouble a few times for throwing it in the house though.
I joked with Jase after taking these photos and asked him if I could take pics of him in his cup. LOL!
I love cheering him on from the sidelines. I love the community. I love that the Girls can run around with other siblings and friends from school.
