you are 5 today!
and daddy and i couldn’t be more proud of you!
these past 5 years have been wonderful.
you are our firstborn and helped us become the parents we are today.
as parents it is our job to teach you but these past 5 years you have taught us a lot too.
as we are trying to shape you into a lovely young woman you are also shaping us into better people and parents.
we admire your intelligence, nurturing ways, playful spirit and imagination,
thirst for knowledge and even your sassiness when you stand up for what you believe in.
